Charity begins at home! Chaukidu wishes to announce that it will host its first ever conference in East Africa, in collaboration with the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. The main theme for this conference is "The State of Kiswahili Studies in the 21st Century at Home and Abroad: Past, Present and Future". The target Participants are Swahili scholars and stakeholders in East Africa, Africa and the Swahili diaspora around the world
