The 5th Chama cha Ukuzaji wa Kiswahili Duniani (CHAUKIDU) annual meeting and conference will be held in Atlanta, GA (the venue and date will be communicated soonest possible).

The 2016 conference brings together national and international Swahili teachers, researchers, students, journalists, artists, activists, writers, publishers, tourist officials, institutions, and many other Swahili enthusiasts and stakeholders.For the first time since its inception, the conference is expected to bring many Swahili native speakers and stakeholders who inhabit the Atlanta area and elsewhere in the US.
